50 House Republicans petitioned President Biden to not pursue a commercial ban on the type of ammunition (5.56) used in AR-15 and other high-powered semi-automatic rifles, and Biden capitulated. But the American people have a right to peace of mind when they go shopping, attend outdoor concerts, go to movie theaters and nightclubs, attend houses of worship, attend parades, and send their children to school. And those bullets steal that peace of mind from us. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. Americans should not have to live in fear of being slaughtered while doing everyday things. So our voices must be heard, by President Biden and the Republicans in Congress who are standing in the way of this simple and sane solution to America’s gun massacre crisis.
